From the digital wave to the wave of independent professionals: Philippe Dubouchet surfs ahead of the trends.
Riding the digital wave, not out of opportunism nor because it is trendy but for the sporting challenge. Because Phillipe loves challenges, particularly in sport, in life in general, which drives his entrepreneur vocation. Coupled with great creativity, this led him to innovate.
Innovate by contributing to the book https://100 idées pour une France Numérique, innovate by creating a platform -ExpertPeople- to federate a network of independant consultants with high expertise, in order to face companies’ digital transformation.
However, ideas are not enough for him, Philippe likes to implement them – “I am a creactive”, he says – so that they become realities, without everbeing satisfied with his achievments.
After being skateboard champion of Franche Comté at 16 (and a fourth place in the France championship), he started two years ago the jump on a ramp in wakeboarding and was a pioneer in France to experiment with foil paddle; and so he likes entrepreneurial challenges.
He contributes to the book https://100 idées pour une France Numérique, in which he shares his ideas for the establishment of a Digital Committee within the Board of Directors, in order to engage and implement the “SDR” within the company: Social and Digital Responsability, as well as the recommendations of the AFEP/MEDEF Code of the 3 Committees, “Strategy, Audit and Nomination/Remuneration.
This idea emerged since SchneiderElectric was one of first within the CAC 40 to implement a Digital Committee within its Board of Directors.
After various management roles within companies such as IBM, Atos, SAP and having developed French companies such as Axway, Opentrust and launched the IoT Sifgox on the European market, he launched ExpertPeople in 2016, to realize the idea he had ten years earlier.
Our Story
Why ExpertPeople
I launched ExpertPeople, in 2016, on an idea I had 10 years earlier, when in a consulting company, my clients asked me for experts that we did not have internally, and that I would look for outside, who were independants with a high level of expertise.
I then registered the name ExpertPeople, to federate and create a network of independents. But at the time there were only platforms of IT profiles of developers or technical ones, and no consulting platform. It was much too early to launch ExpertPeople, compared to the usage of consulting through a platform.
After a market study of consulting platforms in the US and Europe, I finally saw that it was time to launch ExpertPeople.
ExpertPeople, because expertise is strategic, and the individual is essential. Savoir-faire and interpersonal skills are also important to overcome the barriers of transformation and succeed in missions.
Our vision
ExpertPeople is developing the new way of working today.
More and more companies are looking for independent professionals to meet their specific needs in terms of consulting, project management and interim management. ExpertPeople is part of this trend, and has set itself the goal of meeting this demand by building a European community of recognized experts, independent consultants and interim executives.
ExpertPeople is the first platform to use artificial intelligence and emotional intelligence: the human relationship to discover the soft skills of our talents and the digitization of processes to identify the right expertise and gather assignments from our customers.
We are developing a European network of experts and independent consultants to help companies succeed in their digital transformation, and implement positive-impact business models.
